The Evangelism Pledge is a joint initiative of ministries committed to Seventh-day Adventist evangelism.
We have three goals:
- To raise the profile of effective evangelism practices in local churches across the North American Division
- To inspire local churches to put effective evangelistic methods into practice, encouraging them to pursue their calling to go make disciples
- To equip local churches with resources that will help them do the evangelism they’re inspired and called to do
The global novel coronavirus pandemic of 2020 has closed local churches and forced them to radically rethink how they do ministry. Many have become overwhelmed by the basic mechanics of holding weekly worship services online and meeting the needs of members during this season. The thought of doing anything evangelistic during this season paralyzes them.
But interest in Bible prophecy is the highest it’s been in a generation. God is moving on the hearts of minds of people in every community across the North American Division. They are ready to receive to the Seventh-day Adventist message of hope, healing and wholeness.
Now is the time for every church to do something, anything, to reach its community with the Everlasting Gospel. Our prayer is that through the Evangelism Pledge, pastors and local church leaders will be inspired and equipped to do just that.
